Every AI tool that changed its price in October 2026
We re-check every tool in our directory on the vendor's own pricing page. In October, 9 tools changed a price, a plan or a free tier between two of our checks: 2 went up, 2 came down, 2 added or restarted an intro offer, 2 reshuffled plans, and 1 cut a free tier.
Each row shows what we had before, what the vendor's page showed when we caught the change, and a link to the vendor's pricing page so you can check it yourself. Prices are in US dollars as listed.

The details behind each change
- Lindy. The page now says every active user is billed from $49.99 a month. We read $49.99 on Oct 16, then listed $29.99 on Oct 20 after finding a 3,000-credit tier; that tier was gone by Oct 26. (Previous check Oct 20, 2026; caught Oct 26, 2026.)
- Cursor. The pricing page no longer lists Pro. It shows Free, Plus $8 (Grok models only), Premium $30, Super $100 and Ultra $200. Cursor's docs still said Pro $20 on Oct 14. Same plans on Oct 23. (Previous check Oct 13, 2026; caught Oct 14, 2026.)
- Synthesia. The free Basic plan now counts credits instead of minutes. Still the same on Oct 28. (Previous check Oct 21, 2026; caught Oct 26, 2026.)
- Make. Our Oct 18 $9 came from Make's own Make-vs-Zapier comparison table, not the pricing page. The pricing page showed $12 billed annually on Oct 23 and again on Oct 26. (Previous check Oct 18, 2026; caught Oct 23, 2026.)
- Kling AI. Pro moved the same way: $32.56/mo after the first month, with $37 shown struck. Confirmed again later on Oct 26. (Previous check Oct 22, 2026; caught Oct 26, 2026.)
- Fish Audio. The page labels it 'First year 50% off'. Separately, the Drama 3 API promo is $10 per 1M UTF-8 bytes (list $50) through Nov 12. (Previous check Oct 23, 2026; caught Oct 26, 2026.)
- ElevenLabs. The $1 first-month offer ended Oct 18 and was back on Oct 23, now running until Nov 1. (Previous check Oct 19, 2026; caught Oct 23, 2026.)
- Zendesk. The yearly price is the same. What changed is that the page no longer shows a monthly price, so plan on paying yearly or ask sales. (Previous check Oct 23, 2026; caught Oct 27, 2026.)
- Tidio. The free allowance is now a one-time 50 conversations, not 50 every month. Paid Starter is still $29/mo ($24.17/mo billed annually). (Previous check Oct 23, 2026; caught Oct 27, 2026.)
What this means for builders
- Seat prices add up fast. Lindy's Team plan going from $29.99 to $49.99 per user means a 5-person team pays $250 a month instead of $150.
- The cheapest plan may not be the one you need. Cursor's new $8 Plus plan only runs Grok models. If that is not enough, the next plan up is $30 Premium, versus $20 for the old Pro.
- Read the billing toggle. Synthesia, Make, Fish Audio and Kling all show different prices for yearly and monthly billing, and Zendesk now shows only the yearly price. Compare the price you will actually pay.
- Intro offers have end dates. ElevenLabs' $1 first month runs until Nov 1 and Fish Audio's Drama 3 API promo until Nov 12. Google AI Studio lists its Argon API at $2/$10 per 1M tokens through Nov 30, then $4/$20. Put the renewal price in your budget, not the promo.
- Free tiers move too. Tidio's free plan is now 50 conversations total, not 50 a month, and Synthesia's free plan counts credits instead of video minutes. If a free tier is part of your stack, re-check it before you build on it.
How we built this list
Every row comes from our own price-check log: a change counts only if both the old and the new price were read on the vendor's own page (or, for Make's old price, the vendor's own comparison table, as noted). When our earlier listing was simply wrong or incomplete, such as a missing annual price, a currency mix-up or a plan we had not found, that is our correction, not a vendor price change, so it is not on this list. Prices change often, so check the vendor page before you buy. Each tool page shows the date we last checked it.
